KAARO KARUNGI | BUSHENYI – The Igara east parliamentary first runners up Dan Mugura Karukiiko and his agent from Kyabugimbi sub county Obed Sebagala have reportedly been poisoned.
The two were first admitted at KIU but their condition was alarming thus they had to be referred to Mbarara Regional referral hospital.
Credible sources intimated to Kaaro Karungi that the incident took place on Wednesday after the two had lunch in Kabwohe on their way from Mbarara as they headed for the candidate’s home in Kitagata Kyeizooba Bushenyi.
According to the sources, the two have been in comma for the last three days and Dan Karukiiko has just started talking uncoordinated information.
Sources told Kaaro Karungi that the two were discovered unconscious in Dan’s house by residents who had come to visit him.
The poisoning of the two is allegedly because of the concluded Igara east parliamentary and the Rwentuha town council LCIII controversial elections.
However, Bushenyi police OCCID Benon Kivengere said that he has also heard about it as a rumor but no report has been made so that they can commence their investigations.
There are a lot of misunderstandings in between Mawanda’s supporters and Dan Karukiiko’s.
