KAARO Karungi | Traffic Reports. Abias Natukwatsa, a 40-year-old motorcyclist has been announced dead after succumbing to excessive bleeding from injuries sustained in Ishaka road accident
The deceased is a resident of kizinda town, he was riding on a Boda Boda registration number UES 496S was allegedly knocked by a speeding Toyota Premieo Registration number UAV 846P, and sustained serious injuries that caused his death.
The incident occured yesterday on Monday morning at around 8am in Ishaka town along Gaz petrol station.
Andrew Tumusiime, the regional police public relations officer confirmed to this incident and said that the car driver was already in police hands for further interrogations.
According to Tumusiime, the driver identified as Alex Ntambala was driving under the influence of alcohol before causing an accident.
Eye witnesses narrated to KAARO Karungi that the drunken driver lost control thus knocking the boda boda, rammed into 4 stationary cars and injured 3 pedestrians. The injured persons were by publication time admitted at yet to identify clinics.
