The incident occured yesterday on Monday morning at around 8am in Ishaka town along Gaz petrol station.
Andrew Tumusiime, the regional police public relations officer confirmed to this incident and said that the car driver was already in police hands for further interrogations.
According to Tumusiime, the driver identified as Alex Ntambala was driving under the influence of alcohol before causing an accident.
Eye witnesses narrated to KAARO Karungi that the drunken driver lost control thus knocking the boda boda, rammed into 4 stationary cars and injured 3 pedestrians. The injured persons were by publication time admitted at yet to identify clinics.
Drivers have been warned from reckless driving and to respect traffic rules especially at a time when semi candidate students are returning to schools.
