The Blues took advantage of first-leg two-goal lead despite losing 1-0 to Portuguese outfit FC Porto in the second-leg making the london based club advance 2-1 on aggregate over the course of the 180 minutes.
Real Madrid won the tie 3-1 on aggregate against Liverpool to progress to the last-four for the first time since 2018 after playing a goalless in the second-leg of quarter finals at Anfield on Wednesday evening.

Paris Saint-Germain claimed their biggest ever scalp in the Champions League on Tuesday when they squeezed past European champions Bayern on away goals, and last season’s beaten finalists will surely fancy their chances of going one better this year.
Manchester City, who have never got past the semi-final stage of the premier European club competition, beat the German opposition 4-2 on aggregate. They will now meet Paris Saint Germain, who dumped Bayern Munich out in the quarter-finals to progress to the last four.
The semi-final ties will be played on April 27/28 and May 4/5 with the final set for Istanbul on Saturday, May 29.
