22 held in Kabale for entering Uganda illegally

KAARO KARUNGI | KABALE – Kabale police is holding 22 non citizens for entering Uganda unlawfully.

Elly Maate the Kigezi District Police PRO says they were captured on a tip off from various transport companies earlier today of 11/05/2021 at Nyakijumba check point along Kabale – Mbarara roadway going to Buganda area for easygoing work.

There are 14 Rwandan nationals and 8 Congolese, non of whom had important travel/development records a sign that they entered through permeable boarder entry points.

An instance of unlawful passage into the country has been enrolled at Kabale Central Police station under reference number SD 33/11/05/2021 to help in Investigations.

For security reasons, they are being cross examined, after which will be summoned
