The MK Boda Boda Winners Association has issued a warning regarding individuals who are falsely claiming to be supporters of Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba. These impostors have been observed wearing shirts bearing Gen Muhoozi’s image and engaging in acts of violence against innocent people in streets and villages.

Faizo Kirya, the coordinator of the group in Kampala, revealed that they have received information about these impostors who are posing as members of the MK association. These individuals, wearing helmets and T-shirts with Gen Muhoozi’s image, have intensified their harassment of people and theft of their belongings.

Kirya addressed the situation, saying, “I would like to address Ugandans who pretend to love and support Muhoozi. Those who wear his T-shirts and engage in assaulting people.”

To address this issue, the MK Boda Boda Winners Association has made its security forces ready and instructed them to apprehend individuals wearing MK T-shirts who solicit money from people in the city. Kirya stated, “These imposters will be taken to court for their actions.”

It is important to note that the MK association’s rally is aimed at garnering support for Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s presidential bid and assisting in the development of the youth. The incidents involving these impostors have been reported to the security forces, and those apprehended will face legal consequences without any leniency.

Kirya also took the opportunity to congratulate President Museveni for his efficient leadership and the recent enactment of the ban on elephant riding.

In a related statement, Zainab Musimenta, the head of the MK Project in Wakiso, cautioned against spreading rumors that Gen Muhoozi has not distributed boda bodas and other items to alleviate poverty among citizens. She encouraged the youth to actively participate in the MK Project to secure a promising future and assured them of the necessary financial support.

General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has previously expressed his ambition to succeed his father, President Museveni. However, he has emphasized that this will only occur with the approval of his father. Nevertheless, General Muhoozi has declared his intentions to contest in the upcoming general election. His supporters have been actively involved in various politically-driven events, including nationwide birthday celebrations. Last year, his 48th birthday was commemorated across the country and culminated in a dinner at State House Entebbe, attended by Rwandan President Paul Kagame.
