Renowned city Pastor Martin Ssempa has decided to add fuel to the fire surrounding the Chameleone-Weasel kiss by filing a lawsuit against the duo for promoting homosexuality in Uganda.

Ssempa registered a complaint with the police against Chameleone and his brothers for the “indecent and morally offensive acts” of promoting homosexuality at the recently concluded Gwanga Mujje concert. This has provoked further controversy and debate in Uganda and beyond.

The pastor of the Makerere Community church has demanded that all further upcoming concerts of Chameleone be halted until a public apology is issued.

He has also called for the Leone Island CEO to stop all dances and kisses which could be copied and practiced by youth. To further emphasize his point, the pastor has called for the brothers to come for cleansing rituals.

It is important to remember that many people have expressed their disapproval of the kiss between the two Ugandan celebrities.

Ssempa, a staunch advocate of heterosexual relationships, has been particularly vocal in his criticism. He has been actively campaigning against homosexuality in Uganda and this has led to him facing consequences from the United States, with his visa and citizenship being revoked.

Currently, Ssempa is in Mbarara, where Chameleone’s next concert is to take place, in an attempt to stop it from happening.
