KAARO KARUNGI | KAMPALA – Mists have become dark at the Namwongo based media house Nations Media Group after the hand of death denied them of their reporter, JB Ssenkubuge.
Ssenkubuge a writer joined to the Daily Monitor Newspaper has been a unique journalist on Motor games (Motor game photojournalist). He allegedly succumbed to high blood pressure (HBP) earlier today.
Those known to the deceased have described him as a reserved person who minded his businesses in the news room.
Ssenkubuge’s demise comes simply after a fortnight when the media industry grieved the passing of Sheila Nakabuye, a journalist employed with Next media’s NBS TV.
Nakabuye died at Mbarara regional referred moments after giving birth. Its reported that she experienced postnatal complications and went into comma till her death.
In this year alone, western Uganda has lost five journalists. Different subtleties of Ssenkubuge’s death will be published in our ensuing stories.
