KAARO KARUNGI | NEWS – Renegade UPDF General & former Inspector General of Police Gen. Kale Kayihura has said he is “not a traitor to Uganda and neither is he a “treacherous person”.
Gen. Kayihura said this while addressing mourners at the burial of his late Grandmother Umucecuru Ancila Bucyana Ruhimbi in Kisoro.
It must be recalled that General Kayihura whilst the IGP, illegally grabbed Rwandan Refugees and exilees in Uganda and sent them back to Rwanda where they met their immediate death’s.
The IGP and his traitorous gang created massive animosity between Uganda and Rwanda.
The ex-IGP was arrested while on his way to Rwanda via Lake Mburo National Park panya-route in Mbarara, thanks to an alert Boba-Boda man.
Kayihura had sent the UPDF on a wild-goose chase by putting his known number into a Toyota Premio heading to Kabale. The dramatic arrest was made by Gen. Kayanja-Muhanga.
Today, the ex-IGP movements are controlled by the state and he cannot move without Military permission.
