KAARO KARUNGI | MBARARA DISTRICT – Mbarara District Local Government (LG) has allocated ugx13 billion to the education sector making it main goal in the monetary year 2021/22 spending plan adding up to ugx32 billion.
The district secretary for finance Bazil Bataringaya has focused on that this allocation will help the education sector which has had a few difficulties.
While perusing the financial plan on Thursday, May 6,2021 at the council hall, he expressed that administration will follow with ugx6 billion allocation, then 4 billion allocated to the health sector.

The budget that was approved by the council in April this year was ug29 billion yet it expanded after the public authority got 2 billion to work with the new parish model drive focused on destitution easing at new parish
The current year’s spending plan has expanded by 5 billion from 27 of the closure monetary year 2020/2021.
1.2 billion of the financial plan is normal from charges while the excess will be from the central government.
