In a bid to reduce the number of illiterate people in the society, Edison Taremwa, the CEO of Mc Eddy B Foundation, has organized a second gospel vimba mega digida concert at King of Kings Church in Mbarara on August 27, 2023.
In a press conference organized by the foundation, Mc Eddy B told journalists that the money collected will be used to buy educational materials such as books, pens, pencils, sanitary pads, and other items that are always needed by schoolchildren.
He also added that the money collected in the first season supported pupils of Karoza Primary School in Kinoni Sub County, Rwampara District, among other schools that benefited.
This year’s theme is: “We Use Music, Dance, and Drama to Change People’s Lives.”
We expect 30 artists, 5 dance groups, and 5 cultural groups to entertain the audience. The event will start at 2:00 PM and end late. In attendance were Bonny Akash, Isaac T, gospel musician, DJ RK, and Deborah Bridal Center.
