KAARO KARUNGI | NEWS – Kawempe North MP Elect Hon Muhammad Ssegirinya has flown out to Nairobi, Kenya for medical urgent treatment.
According to his close family members and friends, Mr Ssegirinya his in a dire state, with problems in breathing, talking and acute chest pain with pus coming out of his ears. Saudah Madada a people power our power supporter claims that Doctors have confirmed that Mr updates has poison in his body thus deeming it pertinent to fly him to Nairobi for further management.
Hon Bagonza Thomas the Wandegeya councilor elect was concerned that Ssegirinya could have developed the conditions from his arrest and the mode of survival in the cells.

“Let’s all join hands to pray for his quick recovery so that he can narrate to us the situation in the prisons and the health of our other comrades in detention” Bagonza told the press.
Buganda road court in Kampala ordered for his release on Thursday last week after granting him a cash bail of UGX 3 million and his sureties were each bonded UGX 50M, not cash.
The sureties and Mr Ssegirinya who has been on remand in Kitalya prison following his arrest on March 22 were also ordered to deposit their national IDs in court and ordered to return to court on May 12, for further hearing of the case in which he is accused of inciting violence.
Despite claims of poison, no evidence was shown to that effect .
