Uganda’s Government is preparing to host two major international conferences in January 2024. These conferences will include the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and the G77 + China gathering, and the preparations for these events are well underway. Dr. Chris Baryomunsi, the Minister of ICT and National Guidance, shared this information during a press briefing at the Uganda Media Centre, where he discussed the recent Cabinet Resolutions.
Dr. Baryomunsi stated, “In January 2024, we will welcome an important meeting where G77 countries, the Non-Aligned Movement, and the China delegation will come together in Kampala. Hosting this meeting demonstrates Uganda’s standing and credibility on the global stage.”
Reliable sources have indicated that these conferences will cover a broad spectrum of topics, including medical imaging, bioinformatics, biomechanics, and tissue engineering. Additionally, the conferences will provide valuable opportunities for networking, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
