The Hoima District Woman MP National Unit Platform {NUP} Flag Bearer Nyamuhaibona Anna Mary has Friday evening defected to National Resistance Movement {NRM}.
Nyamuhaibona who lost to NRMs Businge Harriet Akiiki was welcomed to the ruling party after meeting Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja the Prime Minister of Uganda and Leader of Government Business.
After defecting to the ruling party, Nyamuhaibona blamed the National Unity Platform of selfishness and lack of a clear agenda and vision for Uganda.
”National Unit Platform is full of selfishness and lack of clear agenda and vision for this country, and i don’t regret joining the ruling NRM party,” Nyamuhaibona asserted.
Nabbanja who handed over a copy of the NRM Manifesto applauded Nyamuhaibona for making a wise decision and encouraged her to mobilize others to join NRM that has a clear vision for Uganda.
”You have made a wise decision, therefore fish more others to join the mighty ruling part which has a clear vision for this country,” Nabbanja told Nyamuhaibona.
