The Traffic police at Kakiri police station are currently investigating a fatal accident that tragically claimed the life of a police officer identified as Kadede Sulah.
The incident occurred at Busaku village, Namayumba Town Council, along the Kampala-Hoima Road in Wakiso district at around 2140c.
According to police, PC Kadede and PC Dramviku had responded to a minor accident involving a motor vehicle with the registration number UAV 727G T/MARK 11 Grande and guard rails at Busaku village.
As the motor vehicle was being loaded onto the breakdown, a vehicle from the Kampala side, with registration number UAQ 541P T/SPACIO, suddenly rammed into them.
The impact of the collision was catastrophic, killing PC Kadede instantly and seriously injuring PC Dramviku and the driver of the breakdown.
