*BUL 3-1 Onduparaka
*SC Villa 1-0 Kyetume
*Mbarara City 1-0 Police
Mbarara City are closing on safety after a vital win against Police FC on Saturday in a league game at Kakyeka Stadium.
Henry Kitegenyi scored the only goal of the game just before the hour-mark to lift Ankole Lions to ninth place.
Mbarara are now 12 points above safety with four games to go.
They will hence need just a point but can also beat the drop if Kyetume fail to win all their last four games!
The side, promoted in May 2017, have had a rough season highlighted by sacking of coach Brian Ssenyondo but after a run of three wins in a row, they will feel that they are all but safe.
The win, means that only Bright Stars and Wakiso Giants are the only two sides to have collected maximum points at Kakyeka.
Police on the other hand remain winless in last six league games and have lost six away league games in a row.
Mbarara City visit Kyetume on June 16 in a crucial tie before last three games against UPDF (H), Busoga United (H) and Kitara (H).
Police on the other hand host Bright Stars on June 15 before Onduparaka (A), Vipers (H) and BUL (A).
