Bafana Bafana came from behind to win the much anticipated international friend, beating Cranes 3-2 on Thursday.
Baroka Fc midfielder Evidence Makgopa leveled for Bafana Bafana in the 62nd minutes. Maritzburg Utd player Bongokuhle Hlongwane doubled the lead 22nd minutes into the second half. Evidence Makgopa booked his brace in the 83rd minute.
Forward Lumala Abdu’s in the 89th minute couldn’t save the cranes from being punished in South Africa.
“I want to thank God that we finished the game successfully today without any serious injuries and I believe we have seen that we have a lot to do in the coming months so that we be ready for 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
