Fourteen people, including both adults and schoolchildren, were educated at a seminar held at Lugogo for farmers aged 29 and below. Ugandans were cautioned against hesitating to embrace the items they produce in all markets.
Doreen Nakimuli from the Ugandan Gulu Made group, a non-profit organization, stressed the importance of taking their products to all markets. She stated that if people produce things that are in demand, they can easily sell them in any market and make good profits.
She added that Ugandan products are not limited to one market because they are not limited by fashion. She explained that these products are loved by women from Gulu who frequent all markets.
Dr. Muhumuza, who heads the farmers’ association, said that over 1000 farmers and individuals attended this seminar, and he encouraged them to continue attending such events.
Deo Kayemba, a representative of the Ugandan Medical Association, highlighted the importance of technology in their fields and urged everyone present to seek ways to improve their businesses because technology plays a significant role in their industries.
This seminar was organized by the Vision Group in collaboration with Bukedde.
