In a recent development, the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) has given its approval to King Ceasor University for the introduction of several new academic programs. These programs include a Bachelor of Science in Oil, Gas, and Energy Management, a Higher Education Certificate Program in Physical Sciences, a Higher Education Certificate Program in Biological Sciences, and a Higher Education Certificate Program in Humanities.
The decision to approve these academic programs was made during the NCHE’s 72nd Council Meeting on August 21, 2023, as documented in MIN 553/72/2023. Rev. Canon Dr. Alex M. Kagume, on behalf of the NCHE Executive Director, conveyed the accreditation news, mentioning that it is effective from August 21, 2023. The accreditation duration varies, with some programs valid for five years and others for seven, and there is the possibility of renewal.
Dr. Kagume also advised King Ceasor University to ensure the proper implementation of these programs in accordance with NCHE regulations. The NCHE will conduct periodic administrative and monitoring visits to the institution to assess the program’s implementation.
In response to this accomplishment, King Ceasor University Chancellor H.E HM King Augustus Ceasor Mulenga T.G expressed his congratulations to the university, emphasizing that this milestone will set a higher standard for future endeavors.
